This course focuses on multimedia web applications. It is a combination of peer-instructions and lectures on the one hand and an implementation project on the other. The goal for the peer- instructions and lectures is to understand mechanisms of human information processing, accessibility, and search engine optimization in order to achieve the ability to design target-group specific web/multimedia apps that respect economical, technical, ethical, and legal restrictions. The implementation project gives you the opportunity to apply the knowledge that you have learned in the lecture to a real world case. This module is a combination of lectures on the one hand and an implementation project on the other. The goal for the lectures is to provide you with methodology, methods, tools, examples, and practices for the design process of a multimedia application. The implementation project gives you the opportunity to apply the knowledge that you have learned in the lecture to a real world case.
